Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Software Engineer II to architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems for Crusoe Cloud. You will deliver end-to-end use cases and workflows, building scalable, reliable platforms for energy‑efficient AI infrastructure.

You'll mentor junior engineers, collaborate across teams, and help scale our infrastructure 10x and beyond while maintaining cost‑effective architectures and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years building and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Proven experience building reliable, scalable cloud platforms in production.
• Fluency in Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to design infrastructure management software and frameworks for customers hosted on our AI infrastructure.
• Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems and platforms.
• Develop workflows that drive efficiency and meet business objectives and metrics.
• Design high-performing, highly available cloud architectures optimized for performance and cost.
• Streamline deployment, configuration management, and operations with tooling and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth with engineering managers.
