Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems for Crusoe Cloud. You will deliver end-to-end workflows and build scalable platforms, tooling, and automation to drive reliability and efficiency across our infrastructure.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help scale our AI-driven energy infrastructure while ensuring security and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Proven experience with building reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms and systems in production.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure challenges.
• Fluency in Go, Rust, Java, or C++ and strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems and platforms.
• Deliver end-to-end use cases and workflows for Crusoe Cloud.
• Build platforms, tools, and frameworks with a focus on reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement infrastructure management software and automation tooling.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth with engineering managers.
