Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure management systems for an AI-first Crusoe Cloud. You will build end-to-end workflows to plan, monitor, deploy, and operate scalable infrastructure that powers critical AI workloads.

You will hands-on implement platforms, tools, and frameworks with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency, helping Crusoe Cloud grow 10X and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years building and operating distributed systems at scale.
• Proven experience with building reliable, scalable, secure cloud platforms and systems and effectively running them in production environments.
• Fluency in Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• A collaborative mindset when working with development and operations teams to build, maintain, and drive adoption of a robust platform.
• A solid understanding of cloud security best practices and the ability to implement secure configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement physical infrastructure management software systems, availability platforms, and frameworks that meet end-to-end needs of customers hosted on our AI infrastructure.
• Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems and platforms.
• Develop workflows that drive efficiency and meet key business objectives and metrics.
• Design and implement high-performing, highly available cloud architectures optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Streamline cloud deployment, configuration management, and operations by developing and maintaining effective platforms, interfaces, and automation tooling.
• Actively contribute to the evolution of our platform by collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
