Job summary

SitusAMC in Washington state is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build scalable AWS environments, drive IaC, and advance our automation-first cloud strategy. This role focuses on security, resilience, and performance at enterprise scale, leveraging Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless components.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams to deliver reliable, compliant infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6+ years industry experience, typically 1+ years in Senior Associate role
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)
• 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on Kubernetes with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and auto-scaling (Karpenter)
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell)
• Experience with AWS services: EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and firewall rules

Responsibilities

• Build scalable AWS environments using Terraform
• Develop enterprise AWS solutions with security-first mindset
• Drive release automation through CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions)
• Automate patching and upkeep of IaC and pipelines
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infra with needs
• Champion automation of AWS infrastructure across the organization
• Drive innovation and evolution of cloud strategy
