Job summary

SitusAMC in Salem, OR is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help drive our AWS-based platform. The role requires deep IaC, modern CI/CD, and cloud-native skills to build scalable, secure environments.

You will work with Terraform, GitOps tools, Kubernetes, service meshes, and automation to deliver resilient, high-performing systems. A strong programming background and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of industry experience; 1+ year in a Senior Associate level or external equivalent.
• Deep IaC expertise: 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• CI/CD mastery: 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps and automation tools.
• Cloud native: hands-on with Kubernetes, service mesh, and auto-scaling (Karpenter).
• Programming for automation: strong scripting (Python, Shell).
• AWS proficiency: EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, and security rules.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable AWS environments using Terraform and modern IaC practices.
• Shape strategic direction with security-first, resilient AWS solutions.
• Accelerate delivery via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps tooling.
• Enhance cloud operations; patching and upgrades of IaC and pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams to align infrastructure with needs.
• Champion automation of infrastructure across the organization.
• Drive innovation and evolution of cloud strategy.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
