Job summary

ICF seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to own cloud platforms, manage multi-account AWS environments, and advance automation and GitOps delivery. You will collaborate with security, database, and enterprise cloud teams to provide secure, observable, and recoverable services.

The role focuses on Terraform modules, EKS administration, CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and strong emphasis on security controls and incident response within a US-based workspace.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or SRE.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and day-to-day operation of multi-account AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and Terragrunt configurations.
• Administer EKS Auto Mode and Kubernetes resources (Helm, Argo CD).Support GitOps controllers and automation.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and AWS OIDC auth.
• Operate SQL Server on Amazon RDS, including backups and DR testing.
• Implement security controls with IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and logging.
• Develop observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Collaborate with security, enterprise cloud, and application teams to ensure secure, observable services.
