Job summary

DoiT is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our distributed engineering teams. This remote full-time role focuses on building scalable foundation software and services, with hands-on work on GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

You will design and automate platform features as a product, ensure reliability, security, and performance. You will own IaC, manage Kubernetes clusters, advance CI/CD pipelines (Argo CD/Atlantis), and partner with development teams to meet infrastructure needs

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• 6+ years platform/DevOps experience
• GCP/AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform proficiency
• Go or TypeScript coding experience
• CI/CD with Argo CD/Atlantis
• Networking knowledge
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• Cloud security best practices
• Excellent English communication
• Remote work ability

Responsibilities

• Function as an IC within the team, reviewing code and guiding platform direction
• Architect, design, and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) and AWS (EKS)
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines with Argo CD/Atlantis and optimize throughput
• Diagnose platform issues with logs/metrics and drive incident response
• Drive automation to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability
• Partner with development teams to translate needs into platform features
• Develop internal platform products and APIs across the stack
• Enforce security best practices and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR)
