Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a senior cloud engineer to lead IaC, CI/CD, and cloud-native initiatives across AWS. You will build scalable AWS environments with Terraform, manage pipelines, and work with Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd service mesh, and tools like FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

The role emphasizes security-first design, automation, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure resilient, compliant infrastructure while supporting rapid delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto-scaling solutions like Karpenter.
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell, or equivalent).
• Expertise with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Build Cloud Infrastructure: Build scalable, efficient AWS environments using Terraform and modern IaC best practices.
• Shape Strategic Direction: Develop enterprise class solutions in AWS with a security-first mindset—ensuring resilience, availability, and performance.
• Accelerate Delivery: Drive release automation through advanced CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Enhance Cloud Operations: Automate patching, upgrades, and ongoing system upkeep of IaC and pipelines to keep infrastructure healthy and compliant.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with external customers and internal architects, developers, and security teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
