Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to lead our DevOps/Infrastructure team. You will own the platform engineering roadmap, architect self-serve tooling, and drive AI infrastructure initiatives that boost developer productivity.

You will operate as a cloud administrator in AWS/Kubernetes, mentor engineers, and help scale 1000+ deployments monthly while improving DORA metrics and platform reliability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across software engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or platform roles.
• AI-first leadership and ability to drive AI infrastructure outcomes.
• Deep platform engineering expertise with self-service capabilities and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform engineering roadmap and strategy.
• Architect, build, and maintain internal platforms and tools, self-serve infra, and AI automation.
• Drive AI Agent Platform adoption across the company.
• Improve Developer Experience and act on DevEx survey findings.
• Migrate traditional DevOps tasks to automated and agentic flows.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch) with IaC tooling.
• Own metrics collection for platform and DORA data and socialize learnings.
• Mentor engineers and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation to maintain production reliability.
