Job summary

The Central Tech DX team at Yahoo Holdings Inc. builds and operates core platform infrastructure powering software delivery across Yahoo. You will own key CI/CD components, artifact management, and ArgoCD rollouts, while enabling AI-assisted workflows for rapid development.

You will drive reusable templates, maintain build workflows, and produce clear docs to help squads adopt golden paths, with emphasis on platform reliability and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development or platform engineering experience with CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LLM tools).
• Experience with artifact management platforms (Artifactory) and release promotion patterns.
• Proven ability to own and deliver squad-level software features or migrations.
• Strong technical writing for developer playbooks, API docs, and migration guides.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver key components of developer platform initiatives across CI/CD modernization and ar tifact management.
• Leverage AI pair-programming and automation tools to generate and test CI/CD artifacts.
• Inspect and validate AI-assisted platform configurations and migrations for production safety.
• Build reusable pipeline templates and clear documentation for golden paths.
• Support artifact publish/consume patterns and CI compute runner optimization.
• Serve as primary technical contact for squads during platform rollouts and migrations.
• Instrument pipelines with telemetry to improve platform reliability and time-to-green.
