Job summary

DocuSign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead medium to large initiatives, scale the Developer platform, and ensure robust, secure, and delightful experiences for builders integrating with DocuSign’s IAM ecosystem.

You will collaborate across teams to drive platform architecture, mentor engineers, and guide foundational feature development while managing on-call incident response. This role is hybrid with in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and large-scale systems.
• Strong experience in NodeJS, C#, Java, C++, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize secure and scalable systems, including queueing architectures, NoSQL, and SQL storage.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the engineering team.
• Create secure, efficient backend services and agents in Javascript or other OO languages.
• Develop and maintain feedback loops for AI Agents.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand needs and iterate quickly.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and domains; maintain high delivery standards.
• Participate in Agile environments with Scrum, automated tests, CI/CD, and code reviews.
