DocuSign in San Francisco seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent, enterprise-grade software with a focus on agentic AI systems and complex integrations across platforms. This hands-on role emphasizes distributed systems, APIs, and security.

You will develop AI agents, NLP pipelines, and LLM-powered features, collaborating with product management and architecture teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a CS degree.
• Experience developing GenAI-powered applications such as intelligent chatbots and autonomous agents.
• Experience with LLMs, transformer architectures, and their applications in text generation and QA.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Translate applied AI research into production-ready features.
• Lead technical feasibility studies and rapid prototyping for build vs. buy decisions.
• Engineer production-grade NLP algorithms and information retrieval systems.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable RAG architectures connecting LLMs to enterprise data.
