Job summary

DocuSign seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, automate, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure across Azure AKS and Google GKE. You’ll own deployments from design to on-call, building reusable Terraform modules and Helm charts while advancing Istio/Envoy and GitOps processes.

You’ll collaborate with security, SRE, and application teams to improve reliability and performance across distributed clusters, with opportunities for leadership and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in cloud, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Experience with Azure (AKS) and GCP (GKE)
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, security controls
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps tools
• Go, Python, or Bash scripting experience
• On-call operations and incident response

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade multi-cloud infrastructure
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and patterns
• Manage infrastructure as code and lifecycle changes
• Identify bottlenecks affecting major engineering initiatives
• Operate Kubernetes platforms and service mesh components
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Maintain SLIs/SLAs, dashboards, and runbooks
• Lead or participate in post-incident reviews
