Refinitiv is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and deliver backend services for AI agent workflows. You will help manage the CI/CD and deployment infrastructure, build cloud infrastructure with IaC, and ensure scalability and reliability across a microservices architecture.

You will collaborate with product and infrastructure teams, uphold high coding standards, and participate in on-call rotations to safeguard production systems.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI or similar) or another backend language.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching/messaging (Redis).
• Proficiency with AWS and container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline engineering and progressive/safe delivery patterns.
• Infrastructure-as-Code practices for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Datadog) for production systems.
• Experience with AI/LLM infrastructure support is a strong plus.
• Strong system design, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver backend and platform services powering AI agent workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD and progressive-delivery infrastructure for safe ship-and-serve workflows.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Make architectural decisions focused on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex multi-system projects.
• Uphold high engineering standards: testing, observability, and operational excellence.
• Develop observability through metrics, logging, and tracing for faster incident diagnosis.
• Support production systems and on-call rotation to protect customer experience.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical growth.
