Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr Platform Data Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate the core data infrastructure underpinning our analytics ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and data engineering, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance of the data platform. You will deploy Airflow and Superset, manage Terraform IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, enforce security and compliance, and develop data models with DBT/OpenMetadata while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience preferred.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years) required.
• Experience with Apache Airflow deployment and administration essential.
• Experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform experience across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI including IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (Terraform, etc.).
• Kubernetes and/or Docker in production environments.
• DBT and OpenMetadata knowledge a must.
• SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Data security and compliance knowledge essential.
• Experience applying AI to improve decision-making and workflows welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling including Airflow, and Superset in production environments
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for data platform components using Terraform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments
• Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and catalog assets within OpenMetadata
• Write efficient Python code for platform automation and data processing
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
