Job summary

CrowdStrike, a global leader in cybersecurity, is seeking a Sr Engineering Manager (L8) to lead 2-3 teams spanning MLOps and data infrastructure, plus data analytics. You will own data plane infrastructure handling trillions of events daily across cloud and data centers, guiding deployment, scaling and maintenance of Falcon data services.

Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience at large-scale data platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on management leading distributed teams.
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time data systems at ultra-high scale.
• Expertise in Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Pinot or equivalent streaming/OLAP tech.
• Production experience with Spark or Flink-based data platforms and related tooling.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience (Postgres/MySQL, Cassandra/DynamoDB).
• Experience with deployment/configuration tools like Terraform and Chef/Puppet/Ansible.
• Proven track record in leadership and building high-performing teams.
