Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr Engineering Manager (L8) to lead data infrastructure initiatives across 2-3 teams, covering MLOps, data analytics platform and data recovery for the Falcon platform.

You will own data plane infrastructure running Spark, Flink and other Apache-based apps at ultra-high scale, shape team growth, collaborate with product and engineering, and work in a remote-first environment with a 2-day per week in Austin, TX or Manhattan, NY.

Qualifications

• MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in large-scale data platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on management leading distributed teams.
• Experience with real-time or near real-time data systems at ultra-high scale.
• Strong knowledge of Spark, Flink, and related Apache ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple data infrastructure teams in design, scaling and maintenance.
• Mentor and hire top-tier data platform engineers.
