Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to design, build, and deploy data infrastructure powering AI-driven security products. You will lead data platform initiatives, integrate LLMs and agentic workflows, and mentor a growing team while shipping high‑quality code at scale.

You will work across Data Science, Platform Eng and product teams to transform research prototypes into robust, production services, with a focus on observability, security, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering/Platform Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML or Data Science at massive scale.
• Hands‑on experience in LLM engineering (fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, deployment) and developing agentic workflows.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency).
• Exceptional ability to write clean, elegant, performant, well‑tested code and deliver results quickly.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices, peer code reviews, resilient architecture, and testing paradigms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and optimize data platforms and pipelines for LLMs, Neural Networks, RAG, and AI agentic systems at Exabyte scale.
• Drive adoption of agentic workflows and agent harnessing techniques to create autonomous security features.
• Lead by example with scalable, fault‑tolerant data solutions and high‑quality deployments.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other teams to turn research into production services.
• Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of critical data services: development, testing, deployment, monitoring.
