Job summary
CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineering leader to form and scale a centralized Data Platform Enablement team. You will drive reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance across all data platforms, partnering with multiple regional and sovereign cloud initiatives.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on platform engineering in a hybrid work model. You will hire and grow a senior team, set standards for tooling and guardrails, and influence across product teams to
Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years leading engineering teams
- Hands-on grounding in SRE practice at scale
- Experience owning reliability for large-scale stateful distributed systems
- Proven ability to influence without authority
- Experience with AI in reliability and operations
Responsibilities
- Stand up the team, hire engineers, and form multiple groups
- Set the technical bar with tooling, harnesses, and guardrails
- Own org design and sequencing of teams
- Build automation to make stateful data platforms first-class in cloud tooling
- Own time-to-launch per cloud/region as a metric
- Develop end-to-end validation and health checks
- Standardize reliability metrics across data platform teams
- Lead data residency and compliance automation
