Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Platform Data Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate the core data infrastructure and platform services that power CrowdStrike's analytics ecosystem.

You will own reliability, scalability, and performance of the data platform, working at the intersection of infrastructure and data engineering to accelerate secure, AI-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration.
• Strong experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure or OCI with IAM, networking, and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling including Airflow and Superset in production environments.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
• Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and catalog assets within OpenMetadata.
• Write efficient Python code for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
