Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an experienced Platform Data Engineer to architect and operate the core data infrastructure supporting CrowdStrike's analytics ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure and data engineering, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of the data platform. You will deploy and manage Airflow and Superset, implement IaC with Terraform, and build CI/CD pipelines for data workflows while upholding security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert Airflow deployment and administration.
• Experience with Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI with IAM and networking.
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency.
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• DBT and OpenMetadata knowledge.
• SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Data security and compliance experience.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate core data infrastructure and platform services.
• Manage IaC for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop data models using DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Write efficient Python code for automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
