Qualifications

• CJIS clearance eligibility (US citizenship or green card).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in infrastructure and data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert Airflow deployment and administration.
• Experience with Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI). IAM, networking, managed services.
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency (Terraform).
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• DBT and OpenMetadata knowledge.
• SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Data security and compliance experience.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core data platform tooling (Airflow, Superset).
• Manage IaC for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop data models using DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Write efficient Python code for automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
