Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Platform Data Engineer to architect and operate the data infrastructure underpinning our analytics ecosystem. You’ll own reliability, scalability, and performance of the data platform, sitting at the intersection of infrastructure and data engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires CJIS clearance eligibility (U.S. citizenship or Green Card).
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years in infrastructure and data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert in Airflow deployment/administration.
• Experience with Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Cloud experience across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI with IAM and networking.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling (Airflow, Superset).
• Manage IaC for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflows.
• Enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop data models using DBT and OpenMetadata catalogs.
• Write Python code for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
