Bessemer Trust is seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to define enterprise platform architecture and drive platform-first thinking across Engineering, Infrastructure, Data, and Security. This senior IC role operates horizontally, influencing without direct authority.

You will lead AWS landing zone design, CI/CD platform experiences, and cost-aware architecture, delivering reusable patterns and measurable ROI across the firm.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in platform or enterprise architecture.
• Deep AWS experience: landing zones, infrastructure patterns, cloud-native integration.
• Strong CI/CD ecosystem experience and DevEx tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define a cohesive enterprise platform vision across developer experience and cloud infrastructure.
• Design shared services with reusable components and standard interfaces.
• Evolve the developer platform experience, including CI/CD and environment provisioning.
• Lead AWS-based platform services and guardrails, landing zones, and account/VPC patterns.
• Enable AI/agentic platform capabilities backed by scalable infrastructure patterns.
• Provide cost-aware architectural guidance with FinOps collaboration.
• Influence across teams without direct delivery authority.
