Job summary

Bessemer Trust seeks a senior Platform Architect to drive enterprise platform architecture across Engineering, Data, and Security, balancing innovation with reusable platform capabilities. This role operates horizontally with executive-level influence and a strong bias for durable, measurable outcomes.

The base salary range is $210,000–$240,000, with discretionary incentives and a comprehensive benefits package supporting hybrid work in New York.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in platform or enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on AWS experience across services and landing zone design.
• Ability to influence across large organizations without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise platform vision and communicate it to engineering and leadership.
• Design shared services with reusable components and standard interfaces.
• Shape CI/CD, environment provisioning, and developer experience as platform capabilities.
• Lead AWS-based platform services patterns including landing zone and guardrails.
• Enable AI/agentic platform capabilities with scalable infrastructure.
• Provide cost-aware architecture and FinOps alignment.
• Operate as connective tissue across Platform, Engineering, Security, and FinOps.
