Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Chief Architect to lead AWS Platform initiatives and shape cloud strategy across the organization. You will remain hands-on for critical decisions while mentoring a distributed team of Cloud, Network, and Security Architects.

This role partners with client executives and ARBs to drive modernization, governance, and scalable cloud solutions across multi-region environments, leveraging AWS best practices and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and Enterprise Architecture experience.
• 8+ years of AWS architecture, cloud transformation, and technical leadership experience.
• Proven experience at Principal/Lead/Chief Architect level.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ Architects in global delivery.
• Strong executive presence with C-level stakeholders and ARBs.
• Deep expertise across AWS Networking, Security, Infrastructure, Automation, Governance, and Resilience services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for AWS Infrastructure Delivery and Cloud Transformation.
• Advise executives and ARBs on cloud strategy, modernization, security, governance, and cost decisions.
• Lead and develop a 10–15 member cross-disciplinary architecture team.
• Establish enterprise architecture standards, governance, and reusable patterns.
• Drive architecture reviews, solution design validation, and complex technical decisions.
