Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Principal Architect to set the technical direction across our product platform within Architecture Services. You will shape multi-year strategy, resolve cross-domain challenges, and guide platform-wide decisions.

As a senior technologist with 16+ years in distributed, cloud-native architectures, you will mentor architects, partner with Engineering, Product and UX leadership, and drive scalable, secure SaaS solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

16+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Demonstrated impact on organization-wide technical strategy across multiple products or domains.
Deep expertise in distributed, cloud-native architecture, including microservices, microfrontends, event-driven integration, and API design.
Track record defining non-functional requirements and architecture governance at platform scale.
Experience designing for security, privacy, and compliance requirements in enterprise SaaS.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-year architecture strategy across product domains and align plans into one platform direction.
Set direction for non-functional requirements (security, privacy, reliability, performance, scalability, cost).
Propose architecture standards and patterns to the Architecture Guild and drive governance for delivery.
