Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical direction for the Consent & Preference team. You will own architecture, drive cross‑team collaboration, and shape scalable solutions across frontend and backend platforms.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in professional software engineering, deep cloud and CI/CD expertise, and hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership on technical initiatives.
Deep expertise in frontend/backend technologies and cloud architecture.
Strong CI/CD and orchestration frameworks experience.
Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in practice.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design for large-scale systems with real growth and reliability constraints.
Partner with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to shape problems early.
Set engineering practices and standards for code review, testing, and incident handling.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on technical judgment and decision documentation.
