Job summary

Appnovation seeks a Principal Technical Architect (Senior Director level) to own the technical strategy and architecture of a major digital platform. You will translate business needs into a clear target architecture and guide teams that build and operate it.

You will lead engineers and architects, set technical standards, govern security and reliability, and collaborate with senior executives to drive scalable, reusable digital capabilities globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience owning the technical strategy and architecture of a significant platform, product, or technology domain.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams, including engineers, architects, and technical leads.
• Deep, hands-on technical expertise in modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, data and integration patterns, APIs, security, and reliability.
• Experience partnering with senior business and Digital stakeholders to shape technical direction, investment choices, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for the platform, linking business priorities to enterprise standards.
• Serve as the design authority for target architecture, standards, and integration patterns.
• Lead and develop the engineering team building and operating the platform.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate needs into practical technical choices.
• Define how AI, automation, and modern engineering are applied responsibly at scale.
• Build a high-performing team and culture of technical excellence and accountability.
• Establish reliability, security, documentation, and governance for global scale.
