Job summary

Velcro Companies in Manchester, NH is seeking a Senior Engineer in Plastics to install, improve, and evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes. You will translate customer requirements into repeatable, capable manufacturing solutions.

Apply statistics, plan validation runs, develop project charters, and lead cross-functional teams to drive Operational Excellence. Domestic/international travel (<10%) may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical or Plastics Engineering with 5-9 years of experience.
• Knowledge of statistics, process validation, root cause analysis and Six Sigma.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Use statistics and data analysis to improve processes and meet customer needs.
• Plan, execute, and analyze multi-phase validation for new equipment and tooling.
• Develop project charters and implementation plans with scope and timelines.
• Serve as technical liaison on design/project review teams.
• Support transfer of processes with training and SOPs.
• Establish control plans to sustain project gains over time.
• Contribute to regional and global Operational Excellence strategy.
