Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. seeks an engineer to install, improve, and evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into repeatable, capable processes and leading cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities include validating new equipment, developing specifications, and transferring solutions into operations with training and SOPs. Some travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in chemical or plastics engineering with 5–9 years of experience.
• Knowledge of statistics, process validation, root cause analysis and Six Sigma tools.
• Strong planning, leadership, teamwork and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and improve existing processes using statistical tools.
• Plan, execute, and analyze multi-phase validation runs for new equipment and processes.
• Develop project charters and implementation plans and serve as technical liaison.
• Transfer solutions to operations with SOPs and operator training.
