Job summary

Velcro Companies is seeking an engineer to install, improve, and evaluate manufacturing equipment and processes in a dynamic production environment.

You will translate customer requirements into repeatable, capable processes, plan multi-phase validation, and lead cross-functional teams to reduce cost of quality while maximizing satisfaction. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Chemical or Plastics Engineering with 5–9 years industry experience.
• Knowledge of applied statistics, process validation, root cause analysis and Six Sigma Tools.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and improve processes using statistical tools and structured problem solving.
• Plan, execute, and analyze multi-phase validation runs for new equipment and processes.
• Develop Project Charters and Implementation Plans with scope and timelines.
• Serve as technical liaison to development groups and define specs for manufacturing.
• Transfer project solutions to operations via training and SOP development.
• Establish and maintain control plans to sustain gains over time.
