Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing Company seeks a Process Engineer III to direct and optimize manufacturing processes, plant layouts, and equipment to meet quality and customer standards. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and NPD to implement improvements and manage complex projects.

The role requires a strong background in process development, DOE, SPC, and the plastics industry, with hands-on leadership across multiple departments and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or equivalent; 10 years in plastics industry or similar experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to read, interpret and develop documents, instructions, operation manuals, safety rules, etc.
• Strong technical talent in Manufacturing—Process Development/Process Improvement.
• Working knowledge of rotational molding processes and related equipment.
• Knowledge of SPC, SQC, and DOE.
• Proficient with MS Office and Visio; Excel advanced skills.
• Able to perform all phases of Cambro SIM Protocol.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes existing processes, procedures, and equipment to identify improvements.
• Develops manufacturing plans for all Cambro processes.
• Establishes and documents production processes.
• Drafts SOPs to support production improvements.
• Performs process audits and analyzes data.
• Leads standardized processes to maintain discipline and improvements.
• Manages continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Organizes project teams and coordinates with vendors/suppliers.
• Provides technical support to Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, and Mold Shop departments.
