Golden State Foods is seeking a senior operations leader to plan and direct all plant liquid product activities, driving quality, efficiency and cost control while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. This role oversees supervisory staff, coordinates with customers and vendors, and leads continuous improvement across the plant.

The successful candidate will have 5–10 years of progressive management experience in food manufacturing, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and strong skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related area.
• 5–10 years of relevant food-manufacturing management experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting concepts and procedures.
• Knowledge of production/operations concepts.
• Knowledge of food safety concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of management concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge of project management concepts.
• Knowledge of warehouse and materials handling concepts.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, and implement liquid product operations.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Maintain relations with customers, vendors, and trade organizations.
• Audit and analyze procedures for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate weekly management review meetings.
• Participate in safety committees and ensure safety concerns are addressed.
• Recruit and train supervisors and managers as needed.
• Oversee overall business health including finances, people, safety, and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
