Job summary

Golden State Foods, located in Conyers, GA, seeks a senior QA professional to coordinate Liquid Products’ food safety and regulatory compliance. You will lead HACCP programs, audits, and supplier quality efforts while guiding technicians to ensure product safety and quality across operations.

The role involves continuous improvement of sanitation programs, GMP adherence, and data-driven reporting to management in a fast-paced, global food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or other technical disciplines; additional management or technical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Liquid Products’ Food Safety and Regulatory compliance and audits.
• Manage HACCP documents for new products and HACCP verification with Operations; conduct quarterly HACCP training.
• Annual review and update of HACCP documents for all products.
• Monthly in-house HACCP and GMP audits; ensure corrective actions are followed.
• Coordinate third-party audits; interact with auditors and regulators; follow up on corrective actions.
• Participate in pre-operational sanitation inspections; contribute to sanitation program updates.
• Oversee pest control activities and oversee Pest Control provider.
• Follow safety policies, GMPs and HACCP; enter/analyze data for reporting.
