Golden State Foods in Texas seeks a supervisory professional to oversee daily liquid products operations and ensure productivity and high customer satisfaction. The role requires supervising staff, resolving process issues, and driving continuous improvement to meet quality and safety standards.

Experience in food manufacturing and leadership, with a relevant degree, is preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities to develop team capability and optimize production performance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience in a food-manufacturing environment with lead or supervisory experience.
• Degree in Food Science, Engineer, or Business Administration from an accredited vocational, technical or junior college institution preferred
• Knowledge of food safety concepts, budgetary concepts, engineering concepts, PC software, and quality concepts is expected

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily activities of staff, provide instructions and feedback to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Identify and resolve process and equipment problems to maintain productivity and quality.
• Propose ideas to improve quality and productivity and plan for changes.
• Communicate with employees to ensure understanding of policies and objectives.
• Drive Daily Management Systems to deliver improvements every shift.
• Own Incident Elimination, Clean Inspect Lube (CIL) management and Defect Handling DMSs.
• Resolve safety/quality/food safety issues promptly.
• Own scorecard, gap analysis, and action planning for the line.
• Drive operational reviews: shift hand-off, shift reviews, and daily ops reviews.
• Remove barriers to line teams to achieve results.
• Administer people management systems (staffing, training).
• Ensure teams receive the right information.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems and results.
• Deliver initiatives successfully.
• Develop Operator Driven Reliability standard work processes.
• Apply root cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
