Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Supervisor Plant Maintenance (Engineering) to lead Electrical Technicians, Machinists and Millwrights in Tampa, FL. The role oversees daily maintenance, training, safety, and equipment reliability to minimize downtime and sustain continuous plant operations.

The position requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with a salary range of $85,900–$119,890 and eligibility for annual incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience.
• Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of product specifications and equipment technology.
• Ability to apply intensive and diverse evaluation and modification of standard techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical/electronic technicians.
• Develop electrical material and labor forecasts.
• Plan and prepare work and equipment usage schedules.
• Provide information on modification on work policies, safety regulations, electrical codes and specifications.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Provides administration and supervision of the plant maintenance function as directed.
• Arrange for electrical support, materials and parts so that there will be no interruption in operations.
• Resolve technical problems encountered related to area of responsibility.
• Provide and plan technical training.
• Provide daily logs including daily scheduled and nonscheduled work sheets and equipment PMs.
• Ensure that all equipment have current drawings to support repair and inventory of parts.
