Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to implement the plant's HR strategy at our Denton, TX facility, ensuring we attract, hire, develop, and retain the talent needed for current and future business objectives.

You will serve as a consultant to plant leadership, champion employees, drive policy compliance, lead compensation and payroll coordination, and partner with Corporate HR to deliver integrated people initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP; company will pay for obtaining certification within first year.
• Manufacturing HR experience.
• ADP experience.
• Payroll exposure; plant runs biweekly payroll.
• Experience partnering directly with supervisors/managers and plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a consultant to management leadership on human resource related issues.
• Acts as an employee champion, advocate and change agent.
• Communicates needs proactively with the Corporate HR department and business management to develop integrated solutions.
• Provides day-to-day HR administration for all HR functional areas.
• Supports training programs and leadership development initiatives.
• Manages complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations.
• Partners with local and corporate leadership on compensation, staffing and workforce planning.
