Human Resources Business Partner - Direct Hire
Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? A contract manufacturing company isseeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner with plant leadership and employees on workforce strategy, employee relations, talent development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
Shift of the Human Resources Business Partner: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Pay Range of the Human Resources Business Partner: $69,000 - $90,000/year
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner:
- Partner with plant leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees on policies, employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Manage complex employee relations matters and conduct thorough, objective workplace investigations
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance, disciplinary actions, career development, and employee engagement
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, organizational changes, and retention initiatives
- Manage recruiting and staffing activities for regular and temporary non-leadership positions
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to recommend programs, policies, and workforce solutions
- Provide guidance on employment laws, regulatory compliance, HR policies, and company procedures
- Develop employee communications and initiatives that strengthen culture, morale, productivity, and engagement
- Partner with Corporate HR on company-wide programs, change initiatives, and HR projects
- Support HR administration, HRIS activities, employee programs, and other HR functions as needed
- Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements of the Human Resources Business Partner:
- Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience
- 5-8 years of HR experience with a strong background in complex employee relations
- HR experience within a manufacturing or similar operational environment required
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Broad HR knowledge including employee relations, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, organizational development, change management, HRIS, and employee communications
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee relations concerns
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational needs and translate them into effective HR solutions
- Excellent communication, coaching, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work on government contracts
