Job summary

Ascensus, a leading retirement plan solutions provider, seeks a Senior Plan Document Compliance Specialist to guide New Business and Transition workflows. You will review plan documents across DC, DB and NQ offerings, consult on plan design, and prepare initial document packages with policies, forms, and notices.

You will input data into the CRM, maintain checklists, mentor teammates, and drive process improvements while solving complex issues and supporting Sales and Relationship Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with 401(k) plan documentation and compliance.
• CRM data entry and document tracking experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review plan documents for new clients to ensure compliance standards are met.
• Provide consultation on plan design during design calls.
• Prepare initial document package including policies, forms, and notices.
• Input document information in CRM.
• Support client calls to explain plan document issues.
• Maintain and update instructions, checklists and design grids.
• Lead department initiatives and cross-team projects.
• Problem solve, research and resolve complex issues.
• Coordinate education/training for team members as needed.
• Quality review peer documents, policies and forms prior to distribution.
• Transition all plan types in New Business (DC, DB, NQ).
• Quality review amendments drafted by Ongoing Document Team, Sales and Transition Consultants.
• Provide document and compliance support to internal partners.
• Perform above-average review ratings and other duties as assigned.
