Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize piping systems, size components, and prepare drawings and specifications.

You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress analyses while supporting safety reviews and procurement processes under senior guidance. The role involves factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting as part of a collaborative engineering team in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least two years of hands-on piping/fluid systems experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize facility piping systems; size mechanical components and prepare/update drawings and specs.
• Perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, and stress analyses.
• Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance.
