Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize facility piping systems, size components, and update drawings and specifications. You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, stress, and structural analyses under senior staff guidance.

You will support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance testing, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable, compliant plant operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus at least two years of hands-on experience with piping, fluid systems, or process equipment.
• Experience with equipment sizing, basic calculations and stress concepts, relevant codes and safety practices, and drafting or analysis tools; the successful candidate must obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.
