Job summary

You will perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, stress, and structural analyses under senior staff guidance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, at least two years of hands-on piping experience, knowledge of codes, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• At least two years of hands-on piping, fluid systems, or process equipment experience.
• Experience with equipment sizing, calculations, codes, safety practices, drafting or analysis tools, and obtaining/maintaining a Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize facility piping systems and size mechanical components.
• Prepare and update drawings and specifications; perform flow, pressure-drop, thermal, stress, and structural analyses.
• Support safety and quality reviews, procurement evaluations, factory acceptance tests, field inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior staff guidance.
