Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in Peachtree Corners, GA, seeks a senior Piping Engineering & Analysis professional to provide high‑level engineering support for complex piping systems, perform calculations, review designs, and prepare input for drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of piping experience, an ABET‑accredited degree, and knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B&PV Section III.

This is a hybrid role requiring three in‑office days per week.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on solid mechanics and finite element analysis.
• 5+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex calculations.
• Review simple and complex piping designs and prepare input for drawings.
• Prepare equipment and material specifications.
• Prepare bid evaluations and support economic analyses.
• Prepare and review simple reports and studies.
• Develop project budgets and schedules; monitor progress.
• Provide input to proposals and communicate results clearly.
• Summarize meeting notes and deliverables for clients.
