Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Piping Engineer to design state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You will coordinate piping discipline tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality across teams. This hybrid role can be based from any Jacobs location in the U.S.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of piping design experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 10%. Proficiency with Revit, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Pipe-FLO is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in piping design for industrial and commercial facilities.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/piping engineering under supervision of a senior PM.
• Coordinate design and drafting of piping tasks for a project.
• Monitor progress and performance of the design team.
• Lead a piping design team within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams including architectural, structural, electrical, and process.
