Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Senior Lead Designer for mechanical and piping systems. You will supervise a team of designers, deliver complex designs, and ensure on-time completion within budget and quality standards.

The role requires extensive experience, capability to mentor staff, and coordination with discipline leads. Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD and may have SPED certification.

Qualifications

• Requires 25+ years of experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required; SPED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team to deliver mechanical and piping deliverables on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and coordinate with discipline leads.
• Prepare P&ID and GA drawings with engineering review and approval.
• Estimate construction quantities and develop construction cost estimates.
• Mentor and supervise staff, ensure adherence to codes and standards.
