Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Senior Piping Designer to supervise a design team and deliver mechanical and piping packages on schedule and within budget. The role requires extensive experience in mechanical/piping drafting, knowledge of piping materials and valve sizing, and strong leadership to coordinate across disciplines.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate degree in a CAD-related field, SPED certification preferred, and proficiency in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design.
• Knowledge of piping materials, supports, restraints and valve sizing.
• Experience leading a design team and delivering on schedule and budget.
• Ability to develop installation specs and construction cost estimates.
• Familiarity with CAD drafting standards and inter-discipline coordination.
