Job summary

Southern Company Gas seeks an experienced Manager, Pipeline Safety in Atlanta, GA to lead PSMS program development and governance across the enterprise. You will coordinate API RP 1173 initiatives, manage MOC, and provide risk-informed leadership to diverse teams and executives.

Required are a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in pipeline safety or regulatory programs, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Office-based role with enterprise collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and relevant experience.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into executable governance and processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise-wide development of Pipeline Safety Management programs.
• Lead assigned enterprise projects implementing API RP 1173 elements.
• Develop and execute Management of Change programs with governance support.
• Prepare leadership materials and ensure actions have owners and due dates.
• Provide quantitative risk analyses to improve compliance and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, Operations, and executives to align priorities.
