Job summary

Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., parent company of Liberty, seeks a Pipeline Safety Management Systems lead to implement API RP 1173 across gas operations, reporting to the Sr. Manager. You will align PSMS programs with industry standards and coordinate with Gas Technical Governance Team and leadership.

This hybrid role requires collaboration with internal teams and industry bodies, audits, and ongoing PSMS improvements. Strong analytical skills and utility operations experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 3 years of experience in natural gas utility operations, integrity management, pipeline safety, or related field.
• Ability to lead cross-functional working groups and drive consistent implementation of safety programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transmission integrity requirements and risk mitigation measures.
• Support distribution integrity program management and audits.
• Update O&M manuals and Emergency Response Plans; ensure compliance.
• Provide technical support for gas pipeline materials and design specifications.
• Develop and administer all management of change documentation; deliver training.
