Job summary

Ian Martin Group is seeking a Senior Pipeline Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Houston, TX. The role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team on large-scale pipeline and facilities projects with significant site visits and possible temporary assignment in Florida, returning home after project completion.

The position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders across sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in construction, operations, project management, program management, or business transformation leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects or portfolios.
• Strong financial analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery by establishing objectives, charters, and work plans; coordinate execution and monitor progress.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project, program, and portfolio risks while supporting value realization.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption and new ways of working.
• Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with objectives.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership, stakeholders, and partners.
• Provide executive-level insights by synthesizing project data, risks, and finances.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for large-scale, enterprise initiatives.
